Nev Johnston - Manly, Sydney. Australia

Nev recalls the early days of his first concert at 11 where he saw Midnight Oil. Picked up the guitar a few years later and hasn’t stopped. After finishing school he studied as a sound engineer, played in a local band and worked in a music store in Qld. In the late 90’s Nev packed his bags and moved to Sydney, managing/sales for a store of a major music retailer for 7 years then onto manage a local music store for the past 2 years.

His 10+ music industry knowledge combined with his trips to South East asia over the years, led to an idea.

From this, the concept of Planet Earth Artist was born.

Sam Clarke - Byron Bay, NSW. Australia

Sam’s earliest recollection of his introduction to music was a Sepultura concert when he was 13. He then picked up a guitar and the love for music had begun. Sam studied graphic arts and worked as a surf coach. After leaving school, it came natural to Sam to keep exploring. During this time Sam travelled extensively through South East Asia.

Through these travels, Sam & Nev met. They shared the same ideas and values leading to the birth of Planet Earth Artist.
